This one is slightly more personal because I got the chance to meet him and game with him. One of the places he lives (he also has a home in China) was the city where the game store I work at is located, and he ran an experimental free form game for some of us who were regulars at the store or store employees.

I don't have much more to say. It has already been said better than I can. I drank a toast to him earlier tonight. It seemed like a small gesture in the face of death, but it was what we had to offer.
Aw that sucks. He was a gaming giant.
